BMC

BMC was founded in 1973 and initially operated essentially as a distributor of motorcycle accessories including brands such as Yoshimura, Bridgestone and Kayaba.

In 1991, BMC began to distribute technical products for cars for prestigious clients including Cosworth and Ferrari.

In 1995, following a request from the Ferrari Formula-One team, BMC began to manufacture their own specific brand of air filters. BMC Air Filters are designed and manufactured by Italian engineers to provide the best performance even in the most extreme conditions.

Since 1996 BMC Air Filters have equipped some of the most important teams in F1 and American Le Mans including Ferrari, Toyota, BMW Williams, Prost, Sauber, Minardi, Porsche and Audi. In Australia, BMC Air Filters are used by a number of V8 Supercar teams including Stone Brothers Racing, Holden Racing Team, Team BOC, Jim Beam Racing and Team Vodafone.

Having established its reputation in the highest and most prestigious competition arena, BMC Air Filters started manufacturing high performance air filters for street cars which are capable of producing the same high level of performance. The BMC range now includes panel sport air filters, conical air filters, Direct Intake Airsystem kits and Carbon Dynamic Airbox.
